Whether that means keeping your skills sharp over the off-season, brushing up on your batting with a bowling machine, or working with your teammates throughout the season, you can get a lot more out of your time by using up-to-date practice facilities.
We have great facilities, dedicated to helping you improve your cricket game. Our centre has four indoor training nets, as well as two state-of-the-art bowling machines.
Our practice spaces are available to hire for players of all ages and ability levels. Whether you’re part of a cricket club or just an individual player, you can take advantage of our top-notch facilities to improve any aspect of your game.
Cost: £23 per hour per lane
We have also invested in the very best lighting and netting and top of the range Bola bowling machine. All of this means the Central Birmingham Cricket Academy is one of the best cricket practice facilities in the region!

Our 121 coaching sessions are designed to provide you with exactly the right level of support that you need to improve and move closer to your goals. Sessions create a player-led environment that encourages a greater self-awareness, understanding of the game and ownership of your own development. Whether you are a batter, bowler, wicketkeeper, cover fielder or captain our wide variety of options ensures your specific requirements are accommodate for by our experienced coaching staff. All prices are inclusive of coach and facility costs and all coaching aids that may be used. A One-Off Simply book a coach and a lane and away you go. Good for assessments, touch ups and any time you fancy a 121.
More than just an academy
Our programs also provide the unique opportunity to meet your cricketing legends, make new friends, and overall have an enjoyable experience.
Cost: £35 per hour
Our group coaching programs are designed to improve your skills in batting, bowling, and fielding, as well as to develop your mental and physical strength. All aspects of the game are covered, including rules, playing etiquette, and sportsmanship. Our programs also provide the unique opportunity to meet your cricketing legends, make new friends, and overall have an enjoyable experience.
Whilst the players carry out what is essentially a net session, the coach is able to identify and address each player’s specific technical improvements. The coach can take an individual aside and work with them one-on-one or offer improvements whilst still participating in the group session.
Players can learn from each other, develop new friendships whilst receiving expert coaching.
